No ad networks, no cross-site trackers, no fingerprinting. We use cookies sparingly and only where they serve a real purpose.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They're used for things like keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, and measuring how many people visit a page. We try to use as few as possible and only when there's a specific functional reason.
2. Cookies We Set
We set cookies in two situations: when you use the admin interface, and when you interact with our forms.
Used to maintain a secure session when logged into the site admin interface. This cookie is set only for authenticated users and expires when you close your browser or after 24 hours of inactivity. It is not set for regular site visitors.
A timestamp stored in localStorage (not a cookie, but similar) when you submit the contact form. Used to rate-limit repeat submissions and reduce spam. Contains only the timestamp. Not your name, email, or message content.
Stores your decision from the cookie banner ("accepted" or "declined") in localStorage. Without this, we'd have to show you the banner on every page visit. Contains only the string "accepted" or "declined". Nothing else.
If you accept analytics cookies via the banner, GA4 sets two cookies to track anonymous session data: page views, session counts, and broad referral source. No personal data is stored. If you decline, GA4 runs in cookieless mode and sends anonymous aggregated signals only, with no persistent identifiers.
3. What We Don't Use
- No third-party advertising cookies (Google Ads remarketing, Facebook Pixel, etc.).
- No cross-site behavioral tracking or profiling scripts.
- No data broker pixels.
- No heatmap or session replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.).
4. Managing and Deleting Cookies
You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the page footer. To clear all cookies and localStorage data for this site, open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to Application → Storage, and clear site data for suiteutils.com.
Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent admin interface login. Blocking the analytics cookie has no effect on the public-facing site. Everything works without it.
